Well Mike, I've looked at some other articles of this event and the big thing that's missing is any mention at all that he was a prohibited person and that he made the guns because he couldn't get one through legal means.<br /> It also took more time and effort to build the guns than the 10 day waiting period which California. And he certainly didn't do it in hopes that not being registered, there would be no records to lead back to him.<br /> So, whatever his reasons, he could have saved himself a lot of time and effort just waiting the ten days and buying an already made firearm.
