They've won various laws banning lots of compositions harder than lead as "armor piercing," meanwhile others have been going after lead bullets. Others go after compounds in primers and gunpowder, others go after various types of guns--some are too small, too large, too expensive, too cheap, etc.<br /><br />There's no overarching conspiracy, just a strategy to attack everything in pieces, and to never say no to one of your elements of gun control.
