Thousands March in D.C. for Gun Control

 Yahoo News

Thousands of people, many holding signs with names of gun violence victims and messages such as "Ban Assault Weapons Now," joined a rally for gun control on Saturday, marching from the Capitol to the Washington Monument.

Leading the crowd were marchers with "We Are Sandy Hook" signs, paying tribute to victims of the December school shooting in Newtown, Conn. Washington Mayor Vincent Gray and other city officials marched alongside them. The crowd stretched for at least two blocks along Constitution Avenue.

  1. Funny enough, I actually saw this woman at a table at a restaurant yesterday right after the march ended (in DC). Her and her friends were very... outspoken to say the least. They weren't talking about guns or anything, they just didn't seem to have a grasp on their volume...

    1. What's your point? It's true, gunsuck opponents can sometimes be rude, but they make up for that by killing fewer children than your side does.

    2. Question nick: Who has killed more children, Adam Lanza or Barak Obama?

    1. Better than having your hands wrapped around it.

  3. The march went along Constitution Avenue? Oh, the irony. What's more, they marched to the Washington Monument, which is a phallic symbol. I wonder how many participants caught any of that.
