  2. Funny Pratt uses the myth of Military bases being gun free zones:

Steven Bucci, a military expert for The Heritage Foundation who served 28 years in the Army and retired in 2005 with the rank of colonel, also told TheBlaze Tuesday afternoon that Clinton is not to blame.

“I think you are barking up the wrong tree if you are looking to put blame on someone for disarming the military,” said Bucci, when asked if Clinton was responsible. “I think that’s kind of a bogus story.”

“We have never had our soldiers walking around with weapons all the time, other than in combat zones,” he added, noting only Military Police have had that authority.

    1. So I guess the people don't have a right to keep and bear arms while in service of the National Guard. Kindof shoots your whole theory down, doesn't it?

    2. Texas Cold carrier disagreed with that. His experience was that soldiers on bases used to carry. I never saw his explanation of exactly what his experience was.

    3. George the First and Clinton both imposed bans on anyone but security people carrying on base.

  3. There's nothing weaseling about pointing out that gun crime in joining regions are significantly different. Virginia's homicide rate is much lower than that of D.C. If it's the mere presence of guns that causes homicide, Virginia should be dying off, and D.C. should be safe. Gun control people never explain why guns insist on migrating to places where they're banned.

Pratt is correct that in these mass shooting incidents, the police don't arrive in time to stop the killing. In the mall in Oregon, we did see an example of what happens when a good citizen is armed, contrary to the wacko's expectations.

Regarding our murder rate as compared to other nations, I discussed that in the article about the Harvard report.
