  1. Good for him, he said what needed to be said.

  2. He sounds like every other mentally ill liberal who blames everything except where the blame actually belongs.
Should he be nominated as "Father of the Year"?

    1. Where does the blame actually belong, according to you?

    2. What a contemptible and disgusting person you are, jerk. This man lost his son so that morons like you can get all your weapons. And all you can do is make fun of the father. I pray the prayer of St Gunsel for you: May your loved ones be on the firing line of the next massacre.

Call me crazy, but I'd blame the criminal, the person who committed the crimes.

    4. I'm a jerk even though this guy's kid killed 7 people. Then the guy blames the NRA because his kid stabbed 3 people to death.
      Typical liberal logic.

    5. Elected officials have a responsibility for public safety. If their inaction creates dangerous, deadly situations, they are partly responsible.

    6. Orlin, this guy's son was one of the victims, not the killer. Still, if you're going to go the mass blame route, I don't know why he starts with Wayne LaPierre over the cops who could have stopped the killer when his parents warned them.

"Elected officials have a responsibility for public safety. If their inaction creates dangerous, deadly situations, they are partly responsible."

Does the Santa Barbara Police Department have that same reponsibility?

    7. You gun worshipers love to blame the bad guy and leave it at that. You refuse to recognize what every reasonable person does, that gun availability to unfit people is the result of what you preach and what the NRA lobbies for, all the while the gun manufacturers are laughing all the way to the bank. You're all responsible.

    8. You realize that the NRA has close to zero influence in California politics, don't you?

And in your collective blame game, how much if that falls on the Santa Barbara police department?

    9. You're obsessed with the cops who had a chance to prevent this. But the fact is, this guy slipped through their fingers. That will happen. The real blame is what the man said, the craven politicians and the NRA - and of course, guys like you who fight for the loosest possible gun laws and continually preach the sermon of "guns are the answer."
