Gun Murder Rate

Not exactly doing a good job of avoiding that “flaw” as you called it, are ya?

Then again, if you truly avoided gun control statistics that were flawed, you wouldn’t have any statistics to post.

    1. The straight murder rate in those countries would show what, that the US is less violent than the others?

No, I don't think so. And the reason is simple.

It always gets back to the substitute argument - where guns are not available the exact same numbers of murders would take place using other less-efficient means. Obviously, since they're less efficient, this can't be right.

    2. Yes, we've all heard your rationalizations dozens of times. However, there is no way to rationalize away this claim of yours that you avoid these flawed arguments from gun control people. Clearly there is not much avoiding going on.

If you completely ignore that guns also have a positive side, this might make sense.

No, we know USA has more murders than these selected countries. But also part of the "trick" (which you admitted can rightfully be called a trick), is that by showing only "gun murders" the graph is an exaggeration. If you made this same graph for states, they would have to show "gun murders" because murders simply wouldn't show anything.

    6. "Too many notes", says the king. He prefers Salieri.

So what about when you said you would avoid this "flaw" from the gun control side? Just another case where you don't mean what you say?

    7. Seriously, Mike, was this just a relapses? Do you intend to avoid "gun murder" and "gun death" statistics going forward?

  2. lying gun rights fanatics

Does it not occur to you that if you insist on accusing someone of lying, it might be best to name the "liar," and quote his "lie"?

    1. You and all the other gun rights fanatics are the liars. You deny the obvious intent of this post.

What the hell are you yammering about now? I didn't even comment on the "intent of this post."

Looks as if I my suspicions were right on target. You haven't found any "lying gun rights fanatics."

    1. Because those are "shitholes", as Mike calls them. Somehow Detroit, Baltimore, and New Orleans don't qualify for the shithole exemption.
