Meet Jihad Joe!

OK, if the US is really serious about fighting the war on terrorism, it needs to get serious gun control NOW!

But, that's just my opinion and you don't mind having a massive body count as "the cost of freedom".

Instead, US politicians protect the right for known potential terrorists on the terrorist list to continue legally purchasing guns--which is a victory for The NRA.

Anyway, I trust you Second Amendment types have no problem with this man telling his Jihady mates to stop on by the local gun show and stock up. After all, They haven't done anything illegal until they have shot up (quite) a few US citizens in some public place(s).

And don't forget this manual!

Any luck, an armed citizen (or more) will show up and turn a terrorist act into a real clutter fuck.

Love it or leave it!

I'm glad I left since it's safer here!

  1. Wow. Some dirtbag says "go buy full auto weapons at gunshows"--something you can't even do--and we should change our whole way of life?

Sounds like the terrorists already won.

  2. Better yet, they can shut down a major metropolitan area (or someplace like Columbus,Ohio) for a few weeks, maybe months.

Which is a better victory for the terrorists? You guys have to register your guns, or shutting down a city for a few weeks?

You pretty much proved my point,FWM, you would prefer they shut down the country.

Shutting down a city is a much better victory for the terrorists than you having to register your guns.

  3. You still haven't shown how me registering my guns would stop a terrorist from shutting down a city 100 miles from me.

  4. How about people going through the registration process with background checks?

That might stop unwanted people from buying firearms.

Not to mention that Heller held registration was acceptable. The courts have recognized the importance of gun registration laws to public safety and rejected claims that these laws violate the Second Amendment. For example, in Justice v. Town of Cicero, 577 F.3d 768 (7th Cir. 2009), the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit upheld a law requiring the registration of firearms because it “leaves law-abiding citizens free to possess guns” as long as they register them, and so it does not violate the Second Amendment.

    Still like Heller-McDonald, FWM?

After all, it's an individual right!

I'm sure terrorists do that all the time.

I bet there is a cafe in Pakistan right now with a bunch of nuts wrapped in burial clothes are sitting around crying, bitching and moaning and wringing their hands because they can't buy guns without registering them.

  6. Registering guns will mainly help the law-abiding types to hang on to their property and to be responsible for it. Background checks on private sales will prevent some guns from getting into the wrong hands.

Why would you oppose these things, FWM?

  7. Are you saying that you want the USA to be come like Durra where pople test (real) fully automatic weapons in the street?

Welcome the troops home from Afghanistan by making the US like Afghanistan!

  8. "Are you saying that you want the USA to be come like Durra where pople test (real) fully automatic weapons in the street?"

Fully automatic weapons are not available for legal sale at gun shows or in the street. Unless of course the ATF orders a dealer to make the sale to a criminal of course.

"Why would you oppose these things, FWM?"

Because registration is a dog and pony show aimed at the law abiding citizen. Registration does nothing to thwart crime.

  9. Do you now WHERE Durra is, FWM?

Full-auto and shooting them in the street are perfectly legal.

Well, no one is going to tell them it's not.

Isn't that the way you want the US to be? Lawless and free?

  10. Yes I know where Durra is. We've had the same laws governing NFA firearms since 1934/86 and the US hasn't turned into Durra yet. Why would you think it will now?

  11. FWM, you keep repeating that, but I've shown how you're wrong.

Because registration is a dog and pony show aimed at the law abiding citizen. Registration does nothing to thwart crime.

Registration will put straw purchasers out of business. Isn't that stopping a crime?
