Protection - It Comes In All Shapes and Sizes ........and Forms of Regulation

There is not a lot one could add to this, other than it is worth a good chuckle at the expense of chuckle-head Nut Gingrich.

Well.......maybe there is a little one could add.

Let's start with condom protection makes more sense and is more effective than guns.

And the observation that at least some of the candidates running for the Republican nomination would have trouble carrying their own states in a general election.

That is certainly true of Santorum, Bachmann, apparently Gingrich, quite possibly Romney in his current more extreme right guise.  Perry has not distinguished himself on the national stage, which may or may not matter to some of the strange politics practiced in Texas; ditto Ron Paul who has largely run unopposed for a while.  Paul has had some ugly things come out of his past especially in the recent round of ads, addressing terrible racism and homophobia and class hatred in his newsletter.

Huntsman hasn't made enough of a dent in public support to matter...

  1. Just how long would you imagine that the line would be for potential inspectors to monitor porn filming? Of course, if this bill passes, porn producers will set up studios out of town.

With regard to the top picture, though, there was nothing about guns in the video, and yet you say that we're obsessed with guns. Dog Gone, you carried a gun at one point, so apparently you thought that it would make you safer. Why didn't you just carry a condom instead, if they are that much more effective?

  2. I really did not see the point to carrying a condom for protection from a woman.

The point is rather to the resistance to regulation, regardless of public opinion.

I think the idea of the conservative objection and obstructions to mandatory condom use in porn filming as part of resisting any reasonable regulation is hilarious.

It only underlines the mistaken ideology that wouldriskso many people ratherthan regulate anyone.

  3. Of course, letting people make choices about their own lives would never do. You still haven't explained why you included a picture of a handgun for a video that didn't mention guns once.

  4. We're all obsessed with guns, Greg.

  5. Why the condom on the gun?

Because a lot of the same people who resist requiring a condom be worn in porn also resist any kind of gun safety regulation.

And it's funny because firearms ARE for many of you some sort of penis substitute / penis enhancement.

  6. Dog Gone,

You do keep claiming that line about a penis substitute. Would you care to prove it, or is it just another of your intuitions? A feeling that you lack evidence to support?

  7. Greg, I really can't believe you asked for proof of AN OPINION.

My understanding is that the old "penis subsitiute" theory isn't to be taken literally. It refers to a psychological inadequacy for which the gun is a solution.

Guys with little dicks feel inadequate in the locker room with other men who're hung like horses. In the same way the guy who feels he needs a gun to be safe is inadequate, psychologically, to the ones who don't.

  8. Mikeb302000,

    1. Dog Gone demands proof for opinions all the time, though she expresses plenty of her own without proof. I'm tired of her hypocrisy.

    2. Dog Gone carried a gun for her own protection. Was she psychologically inadequate for doing so?

    3. Your side does take the "penis substitute" idea seriously, since I keep seeing it used.

Bullshit. I provide a factual basis for my statements routinely. And for any for which I do not provide a link, I DO have objective, credible, reliable sources -- unlike you Greg.

I'm still laughing at your bogus claims about the death of Billy the Kid.

    2. Dog Gone carried a gun for her own protection. Had a permit to do so; but unlike you never felt so profoundly inadequate that I needed to carry everywhere as you do.

Was she psychologically inadequate for doing so? Nope. Unlike you, I had a specific, limited, clear and objective need to do so, and only did so during that time. Your need to do so, in contrast, is delusional and paranoid in the lack of specific, demonstrable threat.

    3. Your side does take the "penis substitute" idea seriously, since I keep seeing it used.

Given the demographic differences between men and women, both in gun carrying and especially in committing gun violence, there is an objective and substantive foundation for doing so.

Personally, I'd LOVE to see a comparison of testosterone level fluctuation among males following certain activities, similar to those done with financial trading. We already know that there are certain activities which directly appear to influence hormonal change in male testosterone levels, and that there is a correlation to testosterone and aggression, and particularly to fearfulness, and to greater hormonal challenges in judgment, particularly risk assessment that are pertinent to gun carry.

Other than that-it's just plain FUN and funny to do so.

  10. Dog Gone,

    1. What exactly is your profession? You talk like a psychologist, so that's my guess.

    2. You do keep diagnosing me with all manner of illnesses and delusions, and yet, you don't have any basis for your claim, other than what constitutes a valid historical source for minor points that aren't typically studied.

    3. If you carried ever, you did so because at that moment, you believed that a handgun made you safer. Otherwise, why carry it? That being the case, we're merely arguing over the details of when carry is useful or appropriate. You'd be stronger in your arguments if you had never carried or if you repudiated that action, but as long as you insist that there was a time when it was right for you to do so, we're only arguing details.

    4. You are once again showing your biases with your remarks about men. Do more men than women carry and own guns? Who cares? Unless you're claiming that letting any man own or carry a gun is dangerous, I don't see your point.

But since you're so wise and so educated in the right way to own and to carry, why don't you give us a series of articles on both? Share what you know about how to carry a gun, when to use it, and so forth. Rather than being opposed to everything, why don't you be of use?

  11. Other than the fact that gunzloonz love to pose for photos with their favorite inanimate objects...

Wearing a condom while filming a porn movie ruins the "spontaniety". Everbuddy would know that the couple didn't just meet when he brought a 12 INCH PIZZA to her fabulous condo. And, as many gunzloonz have to fantasize about "threats" to rationalize their idiotic dependence on teh gunz, a lot of porn viewers have to convince themselves that they could be doing the same things with the same people that they see in the videos--and they would NEVER use no raincoat when taking a shower!

The fact that they might contract STD's--including AIDS--by indulging in unprotected sex seems not to trouble them.
