Your NRA: Meet Robert Dowlut, NRA's General Counsel

Gosh, is the NRA's whole leadership comprised of racists, murderers, attempted murderers, bigots, sex offenders,
misogynists, felons, embezzlers, and petty criminals?

    1. This took place before Miranda made his mark on the criminal justice system. So the standard procedures of the police were a bit different.

    2. Regardless, the fact remains the NRA's General Counsel is a convicted murderer and criminal.

Hey, maybe the NRA can't find leadership that aren't murderers, racists, bigots, embezzlers and crooks.

    3. Sorry, the conviction was overturned due to unconstitutionally acquired evidence. He even became a lawyer, which I don't think you can do as a convicted murderer.
I wonder if Illegal Mayors Against Guns has more or less convicted former members than the NRA.

    4. Nice that you support such characters like Nugent and other sicko NRA members. He got off on a legal technicality, so in your mind he is a person of good character. That lack of judgment is obvious in your other gun loon pronouncements.

Everybody is protected by the Constitution, both good and bad.

    7. There is nothing in the Constitution that protects a convicted felon from being discriminated from getting a job, or negative public opinion of his character because of his past criminal behavior. The only thing questionable is your judgment when you support guys like this. Even convicted felons that have served their time can be subjected to limited rights the rest of their lives. So you support him if you want, but don't use lies to tell me I'm breaking some constitutional provision because I choose to judge him lacking in character because he is a convicted felon.
