More Fun with Polls

5 comments:

  1. So now that the majority of people are beginning to favor gun rights over gun control, they decide to take a survey of authors of studies. It is interesting to see that the experts seem to respond to surveys no better that regular folk, the best I saw was about 50%at best.
It was also interesting to see that very few of these researchers have taken the trouble to learn anything about the Eddie Eagle program, which manages to get translated into,

"Few researchers believe that the Eddie Eagle program effectively reduces gun accidents among children, but most researchers are not familiar with the literature on this issue nor believe the evidence is very strong."

    1. I don't think "not familiar with the literature on this issue" is the same thing as " very few of these researchers have taken the trouble to learn anything about the Eddie Eagle program."

  3. A survey of people who have done gun studies, most of which were funded by anti-gun interests . . . and we were expecting any other set of answers from these "experts".
