Britney's Legal Bill

It's all over the news today that Britney Spears was hit with a tremendous legal bill for the custody battle with her ex-husband Kevin Federline.

The largest bill comes from attorney Stacy D. Phillips, who says in court filings that she is owed nearly $407,000 for four months of work. Phillips claims she has written off another $125,000 in fees.

Doesn't anyone else find that exorbitant? Did Ms. Phillips work full time on Britney's case for four months? I doubt it. No wonder lawyers have a bad reputation. Over at Terry Aley's News Links there's a good point.
