Indiana Gun Shop - 1,000 Weapons Missing

via The Truth About Guns, where the entire focus of the post and comments is on the number of agents involved in the raid and how "evil" the ATF is.

Why would gun-rights people defend someone like this? On Farago's site they do it by deflecting attention from the accusations at hand to the ATF and how bad they are. One commenter was defending Iknadosian who was caught on tape advising people how to smuggle guns into Mexico.

As much as the pro-gun crowd try to distinguish themselves from the criminals, it seems to me they are in inextricably intertwined.

Guns on Campus in Arizona

The bill to allow guns on campus is on the desk of Governor Jan Brewer. Here's the video.

Even in Texas they knew what to do about this. What do you think will happen an AZ?

Gun Used to Kill Daughter and Attempt Suicide

The bizarre action took place in Colorado, one of those gun friendly societies.

John Wesley French Jr. was arrested Thursday for allegedly shooting and killing his 8-year-old daughter, Sheriff Kirk Taylor said.

French, 32, is suspected of shooting Desirea French at close range in their mobile home and then turning the gun on himself.

French survived gunshots to the head and hand. He reportedly told detectives at the hospital, "I can't believe I did that to my daughter," and, "It was obviously me, no one else was there."
The gun belonged to granddad, but since they all lived together in the trailer it was accessible to the mixed-up son and the 8-year-old daughter too, for that matter.

A near-complete lack of gun control is responsible for this. We do not have to accept incidents like this as part of the deal. This is too high a price to pay for what some people mistakenly call "freedom."

More on Ann Barnhardt

The Pink Flamingo put together a wonderful post about the incredible Ann.

People like Ms Barnhardt are so self-centered, so ignorant, and so selfish that they don’t understand their “Freedom of Speech” is putting the lives of American soldiers in danger.  All that matters is WHAT THEY WANT, not in keeping our people safe.  All that matters is their irrational hatred of a religion, no matter if they insult our allies.

Funny thing about Hatred.  Ms. Barnhardt has a strange view of our men and women in uniform, openly challenging them to rebel against their Commander in Chief.  She doesn’t mind advocating a practice that will get our brave men and women killed.  She claims to be a patriot, but advocates eliminating MY right to vote and taking away the rights that make women the equal of men.
I've been thinking about Ann's videos which have become a little popular, the ones in which she burns the Koran pages. It occurred to me when I saw Pastor Terry's face in the news again last week, it was another article rehashing his actions.

It must be frustrating for Barnhardt, an educated and well-spoken person, to be seen as attempting to ride on the coat-tails of a semi-literate caveman hillbilly like the pastor. And the topper is he's a global phenomenon and she's still nobody.

To paraphrase what Captain Kirk said to Khan, "I'm laughing at the superior intellect, Ann."

NRA Member Demonstrates Child Discipline

In Minnesota:
Tara Tuchel described the cellphone call from her son Nate Livermore: "Mom, I'm being shot at! I'm being shot! -- click," she said. "How does a mother process a call like that?"

Yet another reason why you shouldn't allow your kids to go their friend's homes where dad is a gunloon.

Gun Show, NRA member..Tragedy

The Glove Pistol

Issued by the U.S. Navy during World War II, this pistol allowed an operative to take out the enemy without ever removing his gloves. To fire the pistol, the wearer simply pushed the plunger against the victim’s body.
