Crosstown Traffic

I dedicate this one to my pro-gun commenters, some of whom occasionally mention the fact that I'm not coming around to their way of thinking, you know, as if they're right and I'm wrong.

You're just like crosstown traffic
It's so hard to get through to you

  1. "I'm glad you wrote about this too. There hasn't been enough said about this heroic woman."

-mikeb over on Daisy's blog about officer Munley concerning the Fort Hood shooting.

Silly me, I thought you said guns were bad news for women?

  2. "I dedicate this one to my pro-gun commenters"

Uhmmm, don't you just mean your commenters? Why the pro-gun clarification? We're the only ones who comment on your blog.

I guess if you count the drive-by trolls who offer nothing except ad hominen attacks, you can claim a very few anti-freedom types, but that's why we love them.

They make the anti side look so silly.

  4. Kaveman, do you mean the freedom to be senselessly shot?

Yeah, Kaveman, that's the type of idiot you'd want to stop a mass shooting.

Let's just work to prevent them by getting guns off the streets.

But you would prefer to bury a few people in the name of "freedom".

    That type of "freedom" sucks.

  5. "Kaveman, do you mean the freedom to be senselessly shot?"

I could be wrong, but I don't believe the Constitution mentions anything about a Right to be senselessly shot.

Maybe mikeb could do some research.

"Yeah, Kaveman, that's the type of idiot you'd want to stop a mass shooting."

I assume you're referencing officer Munley, the female officer that brought down the shooter. For you to insult her for stopping the shooter, insult me for mentioning that and insult the blog master who calls Munley a hero puts you in a spot of being defended by noone.

    Congratulations.

"Let's just work to prevent them by getting guns off the streets."

Guns illegaly possesed would not be on our streets unless the criminals are also on those same streets carrying them.

"But you would prefer to bury a few people in the name of "freedom"."

Sorry top break it to you, but I was actually not involved in any way concerning the Ft Hood shooting.

    "That type of "freedom" sucks."

    Nice strawman, "A" for effort.

    Please try again.
