Newsy on Glenn Beck

Newsy claims to offer multiple perspectives. What do you think?

Wouldn't it be possible for someone to believe Glenn Beck is harmful to America yet not want to ban or censor him in any way? That describes me pretty well.

  1. Looking at Glen Bek from any persepective--you'll still see nothing but a loudmouthed asshole.

Of course that's possible. I find the Brady Campaign to be harmful to America (but not nearly as harmful as they would dearly love to be), but I acknowledge their right to spread their anti-liberty filth.

I see Beck as too much of a silly caricature to be able to do any damage, but for those who disagree, and want to paint him as "harmful," that's fine--as long as they stay on this side of the "censorship" line.

The funny thing is, the more he's criticized, the more he gets of the attention he so craves.

I'm fine with that. Hell, I bet Beck is as well.

  4. I am not of the opinion that clowns are harmful to America.

  5. I practice censorship every single day. I don't watch the weapons of mass distraction. Why would I waste my time and listen to a man who does not have a college education? If I want to learn something I will read a book written by someone who has a university degree and done the research, if I want to be entertained, I will watch his "news" program.

  6. You're right Sebastian. Clowns aren't harmful, but Beck is not a clown in spite of his self-proclaimed pseudo-humble statement that he's just a "rodeo clown."

He's a poison-mouthed rabble rouser who somehow has become immensely popular. I believe he has no agenda above self-enrichment and that he's quite dangerous for the country.
