Glenn Beck's obsessive personal attacking of the President has reached new lows even as his twisting of the facts and his exaggerated delivery reach new heights.
How Low, you ask? Low enough to incite the idiocy of the right wing so that his viewership will be maintained and increased and his compensation rises proportionately.
You don't think that Beck gives one damn about governance here in America, do you?
You don't for a minute believe that he actually 'cares' about this nation and its future, do you?
It's all show, It's about money. His. And the show must go on and the bobble-heads bobble and his bank account increases proportionately.
With your new obsession with Beck I've seen more of him in the last week than I have the entire last year. Odd that.

I am in agreement with you Mud_rake. The reason he is so controversial is because it gets him ratings which in turn gets him money. What amuses me is that blogs like yours and Mike's actually help him in this endeavor. You are getting him more attention by constantly talking about him. And he laughs all the way to the bank.
As far as i'm concerned, when you get into politics or show business, you're an open book. Everything is free game from your mother to the color of your underwear. That's the cost of fame.
Cash from controversy: Glenn Beck made $32 M in the last year, says Forbes

The latest issue of Forbes breaks down Glenn Beck's incredible earnings.
It pays to be Glenn Beck ... and pays, and pays, and pays.
The controversial Fox News loud-mouth - hero to conservatives, dartboard fodder to liberals - made $32 million in the 12 months ending March 1, reports Forbes magazine.
His company, Mercury Radio Arts, churns out books, runs a profitable Web site, and manages his sold-out appearances.
Beck insists he's not political, even after leading the charge against health care reform, feeding the frenzy of the Tea Party members, and telling his loyalists President Obama has "a deep-seated hatred for white people."
"I could give a flying crap about the political process," Beck tells the new issue of Forbes magazine (Forbes.com).
"We're an entertainment company."
And his brand of entertainment has paid off.
"I aspire to Walt Disney's never-ending quest to try to improve the quality of what he's doing, his never-ending vision of, 'Yes, it can be done,'" Beck said.
Not to mention his building one of the most lucrative and durable entertainment empires of all time, writes Forbes.
Here's where the money comes from, Forbes reports: Publishing (books and Fusion magazine), $13 million a year; Radio, $10 million; Digital/Online, $4 million; Paid Appearances, $3 million; Fox News, $4 million.
The linchpin of the Beck moneymaking machine is Christopher Balfe, 31, president of Mercury.
Writes Forbes: "Chris Balfe has two goals: building on existing businesses and creating new ones."
Balfe's vision for the future: "We have 400 radio stations; we could have 500. We sold 3 million books last year; we could try to sell 4 million or 5 million. We have 5 million [monthly unique visitors] on Glennbeck.com; we could have 10 million."
As to the key to his success, there are the occasional pangs of regret, Beck says, but "I think I say the things that people are afraid to say - and sometimes the things people are too smart to say."
So I'm just curious ... I actually saw that whole show. But looking at what GB puts up on the board, what of it is incorrect?
I don't agree with his final analysis, as the people you grow up with don't define your beliefs or life (I grew up with non-smokers, but I still took up smoking at a youth) but it seems like the statements he made about Mr. Obama and his parents and their history were technically (at least arguably) correct.
Or not?
It's all good fun to call someone a turd, but is that an intellectual response?
Stephen asks: It's all good fun to call someone a turd, but is that an intellectual response?
No calling someone a turd is not an intellectual response. My son who is in 3rd grade is already beyond that type of insulting response. But then again, I'm not surprised considering the source.
The truth is I love Glenn Beck for his entertainment value. And it gets even better when guys like Stephen defend him.
Anyone who takes Glenn Beck seriously should have his head examined and immediately be disqualified for owning firearms.
I didn't defend him, Mike, I asked a question.
Beck did two things: he put a bunch of facts up on the board and then did an analysis of what it all meant.
I already said I didn't agree with his analysis in this case, but the things he wrote on the board were all the truth. The FACT is, he gives a lot of good information on his show, even if you don't agree with his analysis.
Personally, I find him much more informative and factual than you, who references a story and then makes a totally unrelated analysis of it. At least Beck builds a case for his analysis.
Glen Bek is a turd and lying son-of-a-bitch (no offense intended against his mother of course). Why anyone would think of him as anything else, including an entertainer, is beyond me. He makes his money by deliberately confusing rumor with fact or, in many cases, simply making shit up. He certainly does have his audience of credulous boobs who hang on every word he says. So did Fr. Coughlin.
Again, Democommie ... it's easy to just insult someone and their fan base. Everybody does it.
But I specifically asked about this show. Everything he says in the video is factual, and then you can agree or disagree with his conclusions. But he gives a lot of good history lessons, however much the moonbat left doesn't want to accept them.
Have you ever seen Glenn Beck? Again, please list anything he said that wasn't true.
"He makes his money by deliberately confusing rumor with fact or, in many cases, simply making shit up. He certainly does have his audience of credulous boobs who hang on every word he says."
Sounds like Jade Gold. Except for the money and audience part of course.
How Low, you ask? Low enough to incite the idiocy of the right wing so that his viewership will be maintained and increased and his compensation rises proportionately.

What's the difference between Glen Bek and a turd? The turd is supposed to be a piece of shit, Glenny wants to be.

I'd be shocked to see intellectual responses from Democommie.
