Irresponsible Alabama Gun Owner Drops Gun, Critically Wounds Neighbor through Wall - No Charges

 Local news reports

Police in Sheffield are investigating a bizarre accidental shooting.

James Gray is in critical condition at Huntsville Hospital, after his neighbor accidentally shot him through his apartment wall.

Police say Gray was inside his Autumn Pointe apartment; when Tad Waddell, in the apartment next door dropped a gun he was unloading, and it went-off.  The bullet went through the wall, hitting Gray in the chest.

Police made no arrests and will hand the case over to the grand jury.

  1. Unless he was carrying a single action revolver I'm inclined to call bullshit on this one. Guns don't generally "go off" when you drop them. Most likely had an ND. Easy to confirm,

    1. You guys keep sayin' that, but these dropped-gun stories keep on comin'.

    2. Of course they do--people lie! Hence the need to investigate so that you can see if you can prove what happened.
