North Carolina Idiot Gun Owner with Concealed Carry Permit Drops Gun Causing it to Discharge
Greg says no charges are called for since on one was hurt. I think that's an excessively lenient take on it. I find Greg's attitude a bit puzzling too. If I were a responsible gun owner I would be the first one decrying the irresponsibility of gun owners like this one. They give everyone a bad name, that would be my position.
Concealed carry permit holders are no different than gun owners at large, despite the bizarre claims to the contrary from some of their number. The fact is permit holders commit many acts of bumbling and dangerous gun misuse for which they receive nothing more than a verbal warning to be more careful, if that.
One might think they receive the same special treatment which they continually claim is reserved for the police.

Mikeb, I recognize that human beings aren't perfect. But since few carry license holders commit crimes or have incidents like this, we're doing a good job with responsibility. I also recognize that there are levels of wrong-doing and that some things are simply an accident.
ReplyDeleteYou and SS are the liars who said guns won't go off if dropped.
DeleteFeel free to prove that with a URL to such a statement.

Greg, I know how you come to the idea that "few carry license holders commit crimes." I don't agree, as I've said many times because I don't believe all crimes are investigated to determine if the criminal has a permit, but how do you come to the other idea that few permit holders "have incidents like this?" Are you guessing? It seems like a bad guess. On my blog alone there are many examples, which, if extrapolated across the general population of permit holders would indicate that MANY of them "have incidents like this."
DeleteMikeb, there aren't many examples. There are a handful here and there. And as I showed you elsewhere, these things are investigated. Many reporters probably aren't aware of legal carry, or they don't have space to add in that detail, but the police do check.
DeleteAnonymous, I did not say what you claim. Now if I had, you could prove it by showing the location of a statement to the contrary, but you won't bother doing that because you can't.
Bull shit liar. No one is playing your childish cowardly game. You have been proven a cowardly criminal liar. Live with it, You lose.
DeleteAll you have to do is provide a URL to the source, but you can't do that, so you taunt and curse. I'll stand by what I said. Do you have the honor or the courage to back up your words with proof?
DeleteAll you have to do is stop saying bigoted, antisemetic, lying crap, but you won't.
DeleteI know you stand by your words, "revenge is justice."
Now explain how that can be true.

Next lie.
No response from the lying coward.
DeleteAh, that dreaded pocket carry again. While he very likely was a carry permit holder, we don't really know it for sure because the police are still looking for him so they can insure he receives nothing more than a verbal warning, if that.......
ReplyDelete"An investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact the Kernersville Police Department. "

I'd also invite you to read the comments of those who are likely responsible gun owners.
Was that a joke, "so they can insure he receives nothing more than a verbal warning?" That's pretty good.
