N.J. Go-Go Bar Shooting - 1 Dead 4 Wounded

Authorities in northern New Jersey say a Newark man was killed in a shooting outside an Irvington go-go bar that left four other men wounded.

Katherine Carter, a spokeswoman for the Essex County Prosecutor's Office, said Shihaab Loyal, 29, was shot about 4:30 p.m. Friday and died a short time later. But further details on the shooting were not disclosed Saturday, including how many times Loyal was shot and what type of weapon his assailant used.

Carter said the four other victims were being treated for wounds that were not considered life-threatening, but she did not disclose their identities.
What makes anyone think that allowing guns in bars would improve situations like this?

  1. It's NEW JERSEY. It's illegal to carry anywhere, bar or not.*

But hey, thanks for being dishonest like always.

*unless you have a virtually unobtainable carry permit.

  2. Where's the dishonest part? I didn't suggest he was a lawful gun owner with a CCW permit, did I?

This is a general question. "What makes anyone think that allowing guns in bars would improve situations like this?"
