Hawaii Shooter Had Previous Gun Charge

Remember Hawaii NRA member Toby Stangel?

Just another law-abiding citizen:

AN OAHU GRAND JURY charged Stangel in May 2004 with carrying a firearm without a permit in November 2003. Stangel pleaded no contest to the charge in July 2004 and asked the judge for an opportunity to clear the charge from his criminal record if he stayed out of trouble. Carrying a firearm without a permit is a Class B felony punishable by up to 10 years in prison.

Pretty interesting that Pastor Stengel and wife seem to be in no hurry to get home to help out Junior.
