Speaking of 'ProCriminal'...

Let's try a thought experiment here.

Suppose a wealthy white man has a son who is arrested in a road rage incident.  Suppose this man's kid shot a gun at another motorist as they drove on a parkway.  And suppose this kid came within inches of killing the other motorist.

Pretty criminal behavior, right?

Prior to the trial, the wealthy man and his son tried to conceal where the kid worked and what he did for a living. Further, suppose that during the trial, the wealthy white man attempted to try to blame the kid's girlfriend for the shooting.  When that failed, the wealthy white man tried to claim his son had 'mental issues' in order to mitigate the kid's sentence.

Pretty criminal behavior, right?

When the kid gets 10 years in prison, both the father and son work hard to overturn laws preventing inmates from filing frivolous lawsuits which cost US taxpayers tens of millions of dollars each year.

Pretty criminal behavior, right?

It's not a hypothetical.  It's the NRA's President, David Keene.

  1. WASHINGTON - Gun-control advocate Sarah Brady bought her son a powerful rifle for Christmas in 2000 - and may have skirted Delaware state background-check requirements, the New York Daily News has learned.

Brady reveals in a new memoir that she bought James Brady Jr. a Remington .30-06, complete with scope and safety lock, at a Lewes, Del., gun shop.

"I can't describe how I felt when I picked up that rifle, loaded it into my little car and drove home," she writes. "It seemed so incredibly strange: Sarah Brady, of all people, packing heat."

Brady became a household name as a crusader for stricter gun-control laws after her husband, James, then the White House press secretary, was seriously wounded in a 1981 assassination attempt on then-President Ronald Reagan.

Brady writes in "A Good Fight" that the unnamed gun shop ran federal Brady Law and Delaware state background checks with great fanfare.

The book suggests that she did not have her son checked, as required by Delaware state law.

  3. Guilt: And Sarah Brady was sentenced to how many years for breaking the law?

Oh...that's right...she was never charged or arrested.

  4. More Guilt: Was it really last week? Or was it over 6 years ago?

And when she was arrested, did they make her head of the organization?

    You're not helping the cause.

  5. Yes, Keene's son was arrested and convicted. That was the post. Instead of commenting on that, the irony of it or anything else related to it, we have finger-pointing at the Bradys and the Million Moms. Typical.

....did they make her head of the organization?

She was at the time titular head of an gun control organization that bears her name, yet not a peep form you GFW.
