I like beauty pageants myself. I admit they do exploit women to some extent. But a male beauty pageant would certainly be too gay.
Don't tell me you oppose the Miss America pageant? Why?
You said yourself that they exploit women. My idea is more along the lines of promoting a mistaken idea of the value of women. Unfortunately it's inescapable in our movies and TV and music. Women should be considered people, not objects of interest to be judged by men.
