A 4-year-old boy suffered non-life-threatening injuries early Saturday in an accidental shooting in a Henrico County home, police said.
At 7:03 a.m., police received a call from a woman saying one of her children had accidentally discharged a weapon in the family home, said Henrico police Lt. Shawn Maxwell.
At the time of the shooting, the victim and another child were in the home with their mother. Their father was at work.
Maxwell said investigators worked at the home and talked to family members at the hospital.
He said no foul play is suspected, but an investigation is continuing.

"Should be stripped of their god-given, natural-human right to own weapons"--The fact that you use such terminology, describing rights so strongly and then demanding that they be summarily stripped from every member of that household just because you want it, shows just how awful your longing to see as many people as possible stripped of their rights.
ReplyDeleteGot to Hell, you petty little tyrant.
No, not because I want it. Because these irresponsible idiots allowed such a grave accident to happen, one that, by the way, was easily prevented.
DeleteMany cops actually follow the rules, no matter how much sheep bleat about wanting the police to abuse other people.

ReplyDeleteGuess what, fanatic--civilian cops are, wait for it . . . civilians. Sure, government-worshiping boot-lickers like you and Josh Horwitz are big fans of militarizing law enforcement, all in the name of the all-powerful state.
But for now, the humans are still in charge, not you two.
