Who promised he was gonna close the place, but then decided he liked torture so much, decided to keep it open for business?orlin sellers
It wasn't like that, Orlin. The Obama-haters in Congress prevented him from doing what he'd promised. For Obama-haters, nothing matters but obstructing Obama in all things.
So that's what you are going with, eh? Did the evil Republicans force him to continue torturing, assassinate citizens and compile 'kill lists', also?Whose decision was it to stay in Iraq and continue the death and destruction in that place and expand the war and military presence in Afghanistan?orlin sellers
Eventually they all either need to be released or tried. Especially with us thankfully getting out of an active combat role.
You are a true American. And an original at that.
Obama could not close GITMO because the Republican House would not give him the money to relocate the prisoners. The five who were traded could never be tried, because their was no evidence against them and would be released anyways. So the trade was a good one.
Wow, I didn't hear that on Fox News.
