"The democracy will cease to exist when you take away from those who are willing to work and give to those who would not." which was attributed to Thomas Jefferson, who happened to be a slave owner. The amount of flags that popped into my head that this was a bogus quote was enormous: for example, Jefferson wanting democracy.

Reality challenged right? While you point out that people can't shoot others without a gun, a gun itself can't save lives on its own as well.

So who is really challenged here? It's you and your memes. By your own admission, people are involved.
I like the second one. Gun nuts often say guns save lives yet they continually mock us for supposedly blaming the gun.
