I didn't read the comments to the last gun porn post, but here it is again: the French National Police pistol (this category includes the Gendarmerie Nationale).
I hope the PROPRIÉTÉDE L'ÉTAT causes a similar reaction.
The 9mm is a weapon of war and we should follow Mexico and Italy's ban of it. This gun launches a 125 gram bullet at 1150 miles per hour making it useful only for murder.
First of all bullets are weighed in grains not grams and the 125 grain 9x19 does not go 1150 miles per hour.some country's have laws against the 9x19 however the 9x18 and 9x21 are usually legal and there are many other cartridges that use a 9mm projectile. This is the primary problem with you anti gun children you want to ban things you are completely ignorant of. At least have the courtesy to learn something about the things you want confiscate from free people.

Banning ammunition and by necessity the guns that fire them just because they are used by the military has no bearing in logic Anon. There is nothing inherently better or worse about those particular calibers. For example, the 9mm has been used for quite a while by various militaries and is still in use for the forseeable. And the caliber is banned for civilian use in Mexico. However, there is available the venerable .38 super and the more modern .357 Sig, or even the .40. As for those evil rifle rounds, my son owns a rifle that is a suitable alternative to the .223, namely the .243. And a suitable nonmilitary alternative to the .308 would be the 7mm-08.
BS. 9mm was made to go so fast it tumbles through organs like a buzzsaw. Other calibers like 45 GAP are slow and heavy, designed to knock someone down like a beanbag round. Hence the term "knockdown power."
Sigs are nice weapons. I'm not fond of the 9mm caliber because it breaks this rule,
ReplyDelete24. Do not attend a gun fight with a handgun, the caliber of which does not start with anything smaller than “4″.
