Mass Shootings Happen EVERY DAY

The Washington Post

The Mass Shooting Tracker, a crowd-sourced project of the anti-gun folks at the Guns Are Cool subreddit, lists 203 mass shooting events so far in 2015. Add in the shooting at a Louisiana movie theater last night and you get 204. Incidentally, yesterday was the 204th day of the year.
The Mass Shooting Tracker is different from other shooting databases in that it uses a broader definition of mass shooting. "The old FBI definition of Mass Murder (not even the most recent one) is four or more people murdered in one event," the site's creators explain. "It is only logical that a Mass Shooting is four or more people shot in one event."

  1. The new Mercun way of life and be damned by the gun nutters if you want changes in da peoples right to have guns.

Idiots who have guns and the even worse idiots who support the other idiots are now one in the same. Mass killers all!

  2. A interesting Reddit page. If you look at the list of mass shootings you'll see that a majority of them are labeled as unknown in regards to the person or persons doing the shooting. And if you look at those articles, you'll see that they are for the most part gang type gun violence.
And if you read those articles, you'll see that the "don't snitch" mentality is in full force be it through distrust of the government or fear of gang retribution.
So exactly what gun control laws can deal with gang violence such as this?

    1. Mandatory safe storage, universal background checks, for two. The gun flow into the gang world would diminish greatly.

    2. You think that list of anecdotal supposed DGUs is similar to what's in this post?

How is it more or less anecdotal than the list of mass shootings? Both list events from news sources.

    4. For one thing, the article in this post provided totals and made the impressive one-per-day claim. And before you start counting the Reddit list of DGUs, remember we're talking about MASS SHOOTINGS, not simply misuse of firearms. All of which brings us back to the old undeniable conclusion that guns do far more harm than good.

    5. . . . old undeniable conclusion that guns do far more harm than good.

Hmm . . . "undeniable"? Hardly. I deny it without difficulty, since guns do precisely zero harm (and, admittedly, an identical amount of good).

    6. It's certainly undeniable that if there were no guns, there would be no gun shot deaths.
And you gun loons who claim those deaths would happen anyways with other weapons like an ice pick, are just ridiculous. Just one reason you are called gun loons.

Not by anyone morally or intellectually superior to a tapeworm.

    8. For you claim that deaths would not happen anyway by any other means is just as ridiculous, if not more so. A gun is nothing more than a tool to be used by the owner for good or bad reasons. A club, sword, knife, rope, fire, water and stone are just small examples of the same utility as the gun which can be used for good or bad by the owner. The way you keep carrying on about the gun makes one to believe that you think that the gun itself is the thing that inflicts all the bad carnage and not the person pulling the trigger. I believe that if you did a little research into that then you would find that you would be wrong.

      Brilliant deduction there.

Also, if there were no water, there would be no drownings by water. But there would be a whole host of other problems, wouldn't there?

    10. Bigguy, I haven't heard that old standby - the gun is just like any other tool - in a while. It's so infantile and silly, most gun nuts have given up on it.

    11. Loons who support unnecessary gun shot deaths have no moral standing, or intelligence.

    12. Nobody gives up on the truth, Mike. But most give up on you.

Anon, loons who support unnecessary deaths have no moral standing or intelligence.

There, fixed it for you. Feel better now?

    16. You demonstrate undeniable proof of a lying idiot anti that has no care for life in this world. You would support death of anyone just so you could get your way, which will never happen by the way. You look like a laughing hyena, bloody face and all with your lying comments. Your just a waste of space and time.

Thanks for the absolute proof of who you are. Thank you.
