64 Percent Support National Gun Registry

Town Hall

In all, 64 percent of Americans support a registry. Of that figure, 59 percent of men and 68 percent of women agree. Additionally, concerning race, 61 percent of whites, 75 percent of blacks, and 68 percent of Hispanics also agree. Regarding income, from under $40k to over $80k, on average, 63 percent support a national database.
Wait; it gets even grimmer. Fifty percent of Republicans support this nefarious gun control policy, and those who describe themselves as conservative are split 45/44 on the measure. Concerning location, it’s unsurprising that 67 percent of residents in the liberal Northeast want a database, yet 64 percent of Midwesterners, 65 percent of southerners, and 60 percent of westerners also agree.

  1. If those numbers are correct, it's just one more reason that we need "high capacity" magazines--the enemy is apparently quite numerous.

About that 64%--what percentage of them want the registry so badly that they're willing to fight and die for it? If it's not a hell of a lot higher than I think it is, it ain't enough.

    Not nearly enough.

    1. Thanks for showing you're part of the problem, Kurt. People who disagree with you are the "enemy" and may need to be shot.

    2. Thanks for showing you're part of the problem, Kurt.

If willingness to fight for one's liberty is a "problem," anyway.

    3. We don't have to fight and die for simple laws Kurt, it's called the legislative branch of government, which in America means a popular majority, which 64% certainly is.

  2. That's an overwhelming majority! Put it to the vote.

  3. The 90% didn't fly to good so now your going for the 64% to make it a little bit more believable? Nah, still wont get that to float either. Just too much evidence to the contrary to get that 64 percentage to be believable.

    1. These are different surveys about different things. You sound paranoid - seeing conspiracies where there are none.

    2. I don't see anything but the obvious, nothing to be paranoid about at all. But you Mike, must be paranoid about it to accuse someone else of being paranoid over nothing.

    3. I'm not the one seeing conspiracies where there are none.
