    1. Yeah, but short guys and guys with other types of handicaps, mental or physical, often resort to guns as a way of compensating. You're probably an example of this yourself, Kurt.

    2. Yeah, but short guys and guys with other types of handicaps . . .

Wait a second--shortness is a "handicap" now? So what's the cutoff height between "handicapped" height and "healthy" height? Are billions of Asians "handicapped" according to the Mikeb Ministry of Appropriate Body Types?

You're probably an example of this yourself, Kurt.

Well, I am certainly rather shorter than average among people who are standing. Among other seated people, I'm about average. Not seeing a connection between that and my gun rights advocacy.

    3. And another question occurs to me. Now that shortness has suddenly become a handicap, and in light of your enthusiastic support of forcibly disarming the handicapped, would shortness be a disqualifier for gun ownership in your "gun control" utopian fantasy world?

How about other "handicaps" that the rest of the world doesn't recognize as such--is baldness a "handicap" and cause for disarmament? Left-handedness? Severe acne? Peanut allergy?

    4. Of course shortness is not a handicap, but it and any number of other factors could result in a psychological sense of inferiority for which carrying a gun is often the solution. You know the famous metaphor which speaks to this, right?

Well, how silly of me to think that when you said "short guys and guys with other types of handicaps," you were characterizing shortness as a "handicap." Where could I have gotten such a ridiculous notion, I wonder?

You know the famous metaphor which speaks to this, right?

Yeah, I know that it's popular among the very stupidest organisms to call themselves human to proudly advertise their stupidity with infantile talk of "compensating," and that some of their apologists enjoy claiming that it's a "metaphor," rather than a statement intended literally.

On the streets, Richard Hernandez was supposed to stop violence as an “interrupter” in the celebrated CeaseFire program.
But Chicago cops have another name for him: rapist.

"Hernandez faces 36 counts charging him with sexually assaulting and kidnapping a teenage girl while he worked for the program, the Chicago Sun-Times has learned. He’s among at least nine employees of the anti-violence program to face serious criminal charges in recent years.Hernandez, 46, started as a temporary worker in December 2010 before becoming a $16-an-hour “violence interrupter” in May 2013, records show. The program is affiliated with the University of Illinois at Chicago.

Police in Chicago have apparently already had suspicions that the Ceasefire program was being used to by criminals to prevent crimes. Also from the Sun Times,"

    1. In a small way (no pun intended) Mike. However, in the case of my example, the Ceasefire program as a whole has been having problems with its "violence interrupters" committing crimes even using organization facilities. We discussed this not too long ago in regards to a branch in Maryland.

    4. "Yeah, just like gun owners as a whole have been having problems."

Is that most or many, Mike. But you said most gun owners would comply with the new proposed gun laws. That would mean most gun owners are lawful.

But now your saying they are not?

      Confusing. Very confusing indeed.
