ABC News reports on the killing of a young man who broke into the wrong home in Toledo. Was it a legitimate DGU or an unnecessary killing? You decide. (Thanks to Gun Watch for the link)
Unless there is more information than presented in this article, then DGU. Gang breaks into house, they get shot at. Seems like a simple equation to me. What is the questionable part?
I agree with FWM. Seems obvious that someone was attempting to break into someone else's abode. He got caught, and paid the ultimate price for his crime. While that is unfortunate, the lesson here is "don't break into someone else's home."
BTW, I love the interview with the dear departed choir boy's relatives. One dressed like a gangbanger and the other admitting that he didn't get into trouble (until recently). HA!

ReplyDeleteYou break into someones home you might get shot. Seems simple to me.
ReplyDeleteWhether or not he was a member of a gang has no bearing on the fact that he broke into someone else's home.
ReplyDeleteOr did I miss the new law which states that home invasions are only illegal if your a gang member?

A criminal breaks into a house and gets shot. Sounds legit to me.
