Sorry, the site requires signing in with a Facebook account, which I don't have, or joining, which I don't want to do. I got a hundred percent on the citizenship test elsewhere. How about posting the gun questions here?
Fine, I took the test. My score was 80%, but I'm going to argue the two I was supposed to have missed. Illinois does ban concealed carry, though perhaps it was meant to refer to security guards or some such, and carry of guns near schools is a subject in flux, but that's the nature of these quizzes--excessive simplification of a complex topic. That's why my students get essay tests.
Greg, you should have some idea of the state of the law--Illinois' law was declared unconstitutional by none other than Judge Posner--who wrote a law review article critical of the Heller decision.
I should add that you are claiming that you answered correctly as to how many people wanted to ban handguns in 1959 (one of the two I got wrong), Greg?
I seriously doubt that since I guessed low on the number.
I'd wagger that you probably would have guessed at least as low--if not lower.
Illinois still bans concealed carry, since the court case has yet to be decided. Carry near schools is tricky. It depends on which state and the licensing a person has.
As I said elsewhere, I'm not playing trivial pursuit with you any more. Talk about ideas or specific laws that you want to discuss.

DeleteThose are two topics which are pretty solid law.
Somehow, I think you didn't do as well as I did.

Other question was Obama's rating from NRA and Brady.
DeleteI got those two right.
