  1. This is the rest of the iceberg gunloons ignore. For every 15 gun murders there are about 85 gun woundings. In about 80% of these woundings, the medical bills are pasesed on to you and me.

Further, this doesn't even account for lost job productivity and strains on families.

    1. The cost is really tremendous. No wonder they ignore it.

  2. Every gun (like cars) should be insured to cover such costs.

  3. There are thousands of accidents per day that financially cripple families. And many of those are all passed along to the tax-paying public. This incredibly small number (in the scope of all costly accidents) of gun accidents are statistically far less news-worthy than the number of other uninsured accidents that take place every day.

Prescription medication insurance would have a far more positive impact on tax-paying citizens.

    1. That's self-serving convenient bullshit. The cost of gun-related injuries and death is astronomical. Being the tricky deceiver, you tried to limit the discussion to accidents only. Nice try.

    2. So what is the "number of other uninsured accidents that take place every day"? Citation needed.

    3. You're still talking about accidents. And what does "other" ones have to do with a discussion about guns?
