Philadelphia Quadruple Shooting - 2 Dead 2 Wounded

The Philadelphia Daily News reports

Two people were killed and two others were hospitalized after a quadruple shooting Tuesday night on 8th Street near Indiana in North Philadelphia.

A 37-year-old man was shot in his chest and pronounced dead at the scene by medics at 8 p.m., said Officer Tanya Little, a police spokeswoman.

A 36-year-old man also was shot in his chest and was taken by medics to Temple University Hospital. He was pronounced dead at 8:09 p.m.

A 33-year-old woman was shot in her abdomen and buttocks. Medics took her to Temple, and police said she was listed in critical condition as of 8:45 p.m.

A 31-year-old man was shot twice in his right thigh and taken by private vehicle to Temple, where police said he was listed in stable condition as of 8:30.

Police Chief Inspector Scott Small said 37 shell casings were found on the scene. Some were fired from assault rifles and others were from two handguns, he said.
The lawful gun owners of Pennsylvania seem to have no problem excusing themselves of all responsibility and involvement in this mess. But can they? I say no, for the simple reason that the two or more guns used in this madness started out the legal property of some upstanding citizen and somehow found their way into the hands of these killers.

If we wanted to we could turn off the tap at the source.
