Motivated by my new favorite blog, Sunset Gun, I watched both Psycho (1960) and Psycho (1998) over the weekend. I loved every minute of them, which proves I'm not as obsessed with guns as most of the commenters around here. I love movies too.
I'm sure you're right, S, but in this case it wasn't a remake as we usually think of them. It was eerie watching colored-up actors delivering almost the same exact lines. Even the score was the same, I think.
There is only one Psycho.
ReplyDeleteIt is a complete travesty for anyone to pretend to remake a Hitchcock movie. (Except for Hitch himself, who made two of "The Man Who Knew Too Much".)
