How many NRA/firearm industry front groups can there be?

Not to worry.  I'm on the case.

  1. How many illegal Gun Runners are there in the White House, the Administration?

Seems you anti-gun loon goons would be all over that one.

Yeah, right! The largest illegal arms sales conducted by Government in decades; ignored by a shivering bunch of pansy bloggers too caught up in their own ideology to be alarmed.

You girls check your skirts at the door. Wouldn't want you to catch a draft.

  3. Not nearly as many front groups as George Soros operates.

    This one bears repeating.

  5. Anon seems confused--the operation wasn't illegal. It may have been ill-advised or poorly executed but it wasn't illegal.

I know it's difficult but think for a moment. Each day law enforcemenmt agencies enagage in various "sting'-type operations; it may be selling drugs or offering bribes or other such activities. They aren't illegal.

What really bears repeating is that gunup is just another front group for the NRA and firearms industry.

Isn't sending arms to criminals in other sovereign nations an act of war, and why didn't they tell the Mexican Govt, and try to catch the gun runners at point of delivery?

  7. Again, Anon, the Govt conducts stings all the time--some involving foreign countries or foreign nationals.

Gunloons have to understand terms like "illegal" or "unconstitutional" have specific legal meanings beyond "things I don't approve of."

Ok, if it was not "illegal" or "unconstitutional",

Why keep the Mexican Govt out of the loop?

Why hide the scope of the operation from congress, why not have closed door briefings?

How can Holder not know about an operation of this scale?

What did the president mean by eyeing gun control 'under the radar'

I am finding it harder and harder to vote for Obama.......

Aren't you supposed to arrest the straw buyers in a sting, not lose contact with them and not help the govt at the other end how to catch them?

  10. Let's se if we can edify Anon.

Why keep the Mexican Govt out of the loop? The answer is pretty apparent; there are elements of that Govt that may be involved or under the control of the cartels. Again, this is not novel--we frequently may not involve foreign Govts in covert operations for security purposes.

    Re Congress--actually Congress was informed.

Re an operation of this scale. Actually, it was quite a small scale operation.

  11. So Congress was told that ATF was going to let guns out of their control and into Mexico?

And the DOJ told Congress all about O-GR, and yet Holder or Obama were completely in the dark?

And now Mexico says extradite U.S. officials to face trial as gunrunners....

    What to do?

  12. Anon: Your own Examiner article says this is an isolated call by some fringe Mexican politico. Are you seriously concerned about this?

  13. Hey Jade, it became illegal when they allowed those weapons to cross the border and were used to murder a border patrol agent, but hey, that's ok with you anti gunloons because it furthers your anti 2nd amend agenda
