I don't have any idea what the laws are state to state on any number of things. I do know this, though. A guy I know owned/operated a fitness center. They went to a 24/7 access model and in order to get that done they needed to put surveillance cameras all over the gym. It's certainly possible that someone might, in a fit of rage kill someone in a gym, or that someone might just have a health problem but other than that why would they need all those cameras. Oh, wait, there was that guy, who killed 3 women and injured 9 more in a fitness center, it's okay though, he used a gun.
