Laying aside the humor, do you think that a base on the Moon is a bad idea? The Moon is an obvious first step into space.
I'm a Star Trek fan of the purist variety. I won't even watch anything other than the original series, we refer to it as TOS.As such, yes, I think a moon base is a wonderful idea.
You must cringe, then, when Sulu in "Shore Leave" says that he doesn't have that .38 Special revovler in his collection.By the way, you're missing out if you don't watch at least the Next Generation. There's a lot in those episodes that you'd appreciate.
You may be right about "The Next Generation," but my loyalty to Captain Kirk and Mr. Spock will never allow it.
