I'm not sure if they are just trying to convince themselves or if they just believe if they repeat something enough, it will become true.
But the truth is that most do not favor new gun laws and that is why there are no new gun laws and that is why every time someone raises the question of gun control in a blog, forum or social media site, the pro-freedom comments vastly outnumber the control freaks.
