Lawful Oregon Gun Owner Fires Shotgun During Argument over Gun Safety

Local news reports

She was obviously a lawful gun owner, based on the charges, but I'll bet she was also an NRA member, a conservative, a Republican, and possibly a CCW permit holder.

What do you think?  Please leave a comment.

  1. Everyone in good states are lawful owners, but you always have to get in that little dig, don't you, Mikeb. Most states don't require licensing, especially for long guns. You'd love to change that, but we won't let it happen. The other things that you named? All bullshit speculation until you provide evidence.

  2. AHHHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA....

During an alcohol-fueled argument over gun control, an Aloha woman fired a shotgun inside her own home...

Police said Fleming was in a dispute with her 55-year-old boyfriend after discovering that he had brought his loaded 12 gauge shotgun into their shared home...

AHHHHHHHHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA Oh, my, I can't breathe.... Thanks mikeb302000

    1. Oh, snap! TTAG has a post about this as well. You should go over there and tell Dan how she's a CCW permit holder, Republican, NRA member, etc.

    1. Are you assuming that because the argument was supposedly over gun safety, she was a gun control advocate who lost it.

      Those are mighty big assumptions.

    2. Looking at the violent rhetoric coming from gun control advocates, I don't think it's much of an assumption at all.

  4. Yup, Mikeb, she was one of yours. She was a gun control supporter, it appears. She objected to the presence of a firearm in her home. What does she do? Promptly makes a fool of herself. That should feel familiar. But the good news is that if she's convicted, she'll be forced to practice what she preaches, since she'll now be a prohibited person.

    1. Now who're reading things into the story?

    2. At least my speculations are supported by the facts of the story. It wasn't her gun. The argument was over having the gun in the house.

  5. Mikeb, aren't you even going to change the title? It wasn't her gun.
