Accidental Shooting by Indianapolis Teen - His Friend's Dead - He's Arrested

Local news reports

The failure in Indiana when this kind of thing happens is that the owner of the gun is not arrested. Every time a kid does something stupid with a gun, an adult should be held accountable.  14-year-olds should not have unsupervised access to guns.

  1. So you want the parents arrested when their kid does something stupid with a Car as well?

  2. Depends on what Mike? According to you, because the kid was able to get their parent's gun, the parent should be liable. Well, the same thing holds true if the kid gets the parent's car keys and has an accident or kills somebody. The parents should have locked the car keys up in a safe so the kid couldn't get to them.

    1. And should have to lock up the battery in a separate location, especially if the car has a manual transmission.

  3. When the kid uses the parent's gun, absolutely the parent should be in jail. The parent is more responsible for the gun use. The car is regulated by the state. Thanks to the NRA and the gun wacks, no one controls guns, and insane people get them through the gun show loophole every day.

In fact, if your gun in stolen and used in a crime, you are an accessory before the fact, and should be sentenced with the perp. We need a gun registration for all guns, so that we can determine how many NRA members ARE committing crimes - my guess is that the answer is "MANY".
