The associations with Hitler and Mao are just stupid. The claim that veterans with PTSD who've received the famous letters from the VA indicates a total ban on guns is coming, is just stupid.
Sure, Obama doesn't want a total ban on guns--as long as he leaves some people with guns he can claim that he respects and wants to protect the second amendment. Meanwhile, he'll just keep chipping away, bit by bit, at the groups of people who he allows to have guns.
Right now, they've taken them from Vets who needed help with their finances (and a lot of Democrats voted to keep it that way--we will not forget). Next, they'll attempt to take them from anyone with any level of PTSD. Eventually, they'll find another easy to pick on group.
Sure, I'll give it to you that he doesn't want to totally ban guns; he just wants to prohibit anyone from owning them unless they are a member of the elite in the "in" crowd with him and our other rulers.
Like the background check bill, the anti-trafficking measures were overbroad, written in such a way that they would cover things that were not a problem.
Also, they were unnecessary since the actions involved in trafficking are already illegal--the guns are either straw purchased, stolen, or sold to a known criminal. Usually two of the three. The problem has been lack of resources utilized to go after these activities. A new law, sans resource allocation, would have done nothing to stem the flow. A new law With resource allocation would have done no more good than resource allocation would do now.
Despite his most intense efforts, Obama will only try to disarm America. And fail. Utterly.
And courageous, honorable heroes like this civil rights icon will be the reason for Obama's abject, ignominious failure, and for the survival of liberty and decency in America.
The only reason those dire predictions are unlikely is that we citizens continually fight for our rights.

No thank you.
That vote also dismantled laws aimed at stopping trafficking in illegal guns. Now there's stupidity in governing.

I put the wrong video up there and couldn't find the right one. But, carry on.
