  1. My opinion?

Well, it's my opinion that you didn't give us a link, and therefore, you may have made this up, and are likely talking out your ass.

Of course, that's pretty regular around here. Move along, nothing to see here.

    1. I take a bit of umbridge at your nasty remark. Plus, you're mistaken, there is a link.

    2. The link wasn't there before when I posted the nasty remark. You have my permission to delete it and this thread if you like.

    3. I can assure you I did not add the link afterwards. Is it possible you were a bit hasty in posting that nastiness and failed to see it?

    4. And I can assure you that a lot of times, links don't appear. The vagaries of the Internet...

  2. Now that the link showed up, I still say you're talking out your ass about the permit. There's nothing in the article to say that he will be given a permit.

As for potential charges--what exactly? Criminal Dumbassery? Being too stupid to live? It's a dang accident and he's the only one hurt--he has suffered and will suffer physical pain and is in for a good deal of financial pain--both good incentives to be far more careful in the future. The scale would seem to be balanced.

    1. I've asked Mikeb to name other areas where he's this vindictive, but he ignores the question.

    2. I'm not vindictive and this was not a simple accident. When someone violates more than one of the 4 Rules of Gun Safety, they are guilty of gross and what should be criminal negligence. It matters not if a round goes into a kids brain or the floor boards.

Why are you guys so intent on accepting this kind of dangerous behavior.

    3. It does matter if a injury or death occurs or not--that's the same as with any other area of life.

  3. Yahooo, lets drink some beer and shoot some ducks out of the pick up truck.
It's the gun nuts who should not have guns. The idiots!

    1. Does it even matter to you that I have never combined those activities?

    2. According to you, you're a shining example of gun-owner responsibility. And I have no reason to doubt you. But, that's not the norm. The "drink some beer and shoot some ducks" fellas are more representative than you are.
