It's A Child's Second Amendment Right To Die

Apparently, in many backwards states (read: the South), it is perfectly acceptable to kill as many children as you wish provided you do it with a firearm.

To illustrate, it's virtually impossible for a day to go by without reading about yet another case where a child is killed by using an unattended firearm or having a friend or family member accidentally shoot them.  In just about every case, the adult gunloon isn't charged or in any way punished.

OTOH, if by any other form of neglect, a child dies--the adult can expect to be punished to the full extent of the law.

  1. Jadegold, you're back? Recovered from all the abuse your sockpuppets took?

Jadegold, do you by any chance have any data to support this assertion? Or is this just an editorial comment like the rest of the posting.
I've noticed with MikeB, he tends to believe that gun owners are rarely made to answer for their negligence because he is seldom willing to wait for the legal process to proceed at its own speed.
If you have a true source for data, I'd be very interested to see it.

    1. My belief is the lengthy delay in determining if charges should be filed is an avoidance mechanism in most cases. You're certainly free to point out the cases in which charges are eventually filed on the ones I label "no charges."

  3. In addition to the inevitable enactment (and full enforcement) of legislative measures prohibiting the possession, use, and distribution of firearms by mere civilians of common caste and economic means, the Federal State must additionally consider emulating its progressive international friends in other vital facets of social policy, by the imposition of a national One Child Policy.

The damage dealt by the socially undesirable denizens of the American south may be negated by the adoption of such a policy, which would preclude excessive spawning of genetically defective offspring and thus reduce the rate of such negligent forms of homicide.

There must be international recognition of the collective right to prevent excessive mating, as well as enforcement of The People's Right to Civilian Disarmament which is enshrined in the U.S. Constitution, as well as that of every civilized society.
