An 8-year-old boy died Saturday afternoon from a single gunshot wound following an accidental discharge of a revolver by his brother at their residence in northern Bossier Parish.
The boy, Nathan Majors, was home alone with his 11-year-old brother when the two found a loaded .38 caliber revolver in the house. The older brother accidently discharged the revolver shooting Nathan. He was taken to University Health in Shreveport, where he was pronounced deceased from a single gunshot wound.
Bossier Sheriff’s Office deputies have determined the shooting to be accidental, but they will continue with their investigation.
"deputies have determined the shooting to be accidental, but they will continue with their investigation. " You know what that means, right?
You know what that means, right?
ReplyDeleteThat even after several hours--hundreds of minutes, and thousands of seconds (let's not even get into the number of milliseconds, let alone nanoseconds, and certainly not Planck time units), the sheriff's department is not satisfied that it has ascertained everything that needs to be known about the tragedy?
Yeah--I suppose it does mean that.
So they prematurely determined it an accident?
