Talk about burying the lead. I don't think the newspaper understands that the news is not that "social clubs" were selling liquor without a license but that these "social clubs" were GUN clubs.
What an idiotic statement. There are exceptions to every rule. I'm told most bloggers are intelligent, but the apparent belief in universal rules seems to prove otherwise.
BBQ and beer after a day of shooting is not a black-eye for gun owners. If they broke some licensing laws that is another issue, but I see no mention of drunk shooting.
"You should quit pretending that you're all so responsible. You're not."
Because MikeB has personally met and evaluated each and every gun owner in the entire United States, perhaps the world. As a result of his exhaustive effort to meet, evaluate and catalog the habits (and racist overtones) of every gun owner everywhere, he knows. He's kind of like Santa Claus, only instead of leaving presents he's taking your guns.
That's why his almost famous 1/10 of 1/1000th of 1% rule applies here.
You irresponsible gun owners ought to be ashamed of yourselves! Sit in the corner for five minutes! No range time for you for one day!
When you see this, you'll shit bricks.
ReplyDeleteDrunk gunners and cancer, oh my!

ReplyDeleteOy.
No where in the article does it mention drinking at a gun range.
ReplyDeleteTry harder next time.

ReplyDeleteSo what are you pro-gun guys saying, that the image of the beer-drinking redneck who recklessly practices his shooting is a fabrication?
ReplyDeleteYou should quit pretending that you're all so responsible. You're not.
Why don't you refer to my
Famous 10%. That's what we're talking about here, but you keep getting defensive as if we're saying you're all bad apples.

ReplyDeleteDon't confuse SoBeale or MikeB with facts, they have an agenda to push here!

ReplyDeleteIn another post you claim that most NRA members are racist. Why should we believe anything that you claim to know about gun owners?
MikeB, there is nothing wrong with drinking beer.
ReplyDeleteThere is wrong with owning and shooting guns.
These two actions can be done separately and responsibly- just as you can have a driver’s license and also enjoy a pint.
"So what are you pro-gun guys saying, that the image of the beer-drinking redneck who recklessly practices his shooting is a fabrication?"
ReplyDeleteIt's no fabrication. It's just that this particular story isn't an example of such.
Yes RuffRidr, most NRA members are racist and most (probably by a small margin) gun owners are responsible.
ReplyDelete"Why should we believe anything that you claim to know about gun owners?"
ReplyDeleteWe shouldn't, obviously. 10 percent, anyone?
