Sore losers--the Pashtuns got you beat in the Gun Rights Department

Isn't this one of the Duck Dynasty crew?

In case this video doesn't embed:

I suggest you watch it and weep before saying stupid shit.

But that never stops you from making irrelevant comments.

The US is falling behind in the Gun Rights Category

This is bad. Gun Loving Pakistan is showing  that they value freedom, especially gun rights, far more than the US.
The similarity might not be intentional, but its far too obvious.

Pakistan's gun culture has been mentioned before--and they love their guns as much, if not more, than people in the US.  Pakistan even has an equivalent of the Second Amendment as gun loons envision it in their Constitution!

Well, they weren't gonna be outdone in the mass shooting department by the US of A.

No way.

The Pakistanis, especially the Taliban, had to show that they were freedom loving people like their US counterparts with a massive school shooting.

At least 126 people, most of them children, have been killed in a Taliban assault on an army-run
Hali Ph'shar (ALEX BOWIE / GETTY)
school in the Pakistani city of Peshawar.

Peshawar--sound familiar?  Yeah, it's the home of the Darra Gun Bazaar!  It's Pakistani Gun Loon Central!

Let's toss in that the School was run by the Army.

I don't give a shit what you clowns think, but there were probably more "good guys with guns" on the spot than you could count.

I also doubt there will be much of a movement to try and ban guns in this part of the world as well.

But, this definitely changes the dialogue.

The Taliban know the real meaning of FREEDOM!
Live with it!

Quote of the Day from Malala Yousafzai

In case you don't know who Malala Yousafzai is, she is the young woman who was shot by the Taliban for protesting a ban on female education.  She lives in the Swat District of Pakistan's northwestern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.  That is a place that has a similar attitude toward the "right to bear arms" that the gun loons profess.

She made this comment at Glamour Magazine's Women of the Year Awards.

Nothing like living under the gun.

If that's your idea of freedom--I'll take the alternative.

America's Own Taliban

Incredible picture of idiots with guns spotted at the Immoral Minority.

via Al Jazeera, a fascinating op-ed.

Prior to 9/11, the Taliban government in Afghanistan did not register very much on American radar screens, with one notable exception: when it blew up two colossal images of the Buddha in Bamiyan province in early 2001. But destruction of treasured artifacts isn't just limited to the Taliban.

There's a right-wing politico-religious presence centred in the US, but with a global reach, engaging in similar practises, destroying religious and cultural artifacts as a key aspect of its ideology of "strategic level spiritual warfare" (SLSW).

Until recently a fringe evangelical movement, warned against as deviant, "spiritual warfare" is rapidly positioning itself within America's mainstream political right. It's well past time for political journalists to start covering what this movement is up to.

As an example, leaders have bragged online about the destruction of Native American religious artifacts, which their twisted ideology somehow sees as a liberating act, promoting "reconciliation" between estranged groups of people. Critics, however, see it as reflecting an eliminationist mindset, while traditional conservative evangelicals have denounced the ideology as un-biblical. Some even claim it is actually a form of pagan practice dressed up in Christian clothes, according such artifacts a spiritual power that the Bible itself denies.
