It Was Just Target Practice

In South Dakota.

In Ohio.

In Idaho.

They call it "plinkin'" or "shootin' at cans" or "target practice."  It's a harmless activity done by countless lawful and responsible gun owners.

What's your opinion?

  1. I was target shooting in my back yard just yesterday. So what is your point?

  2. In South Dakota.

    Knowing the area that this happened in, I'm not surprised that it was confused with not being in city limits. That doesn't excuse the fact that they were trespassing on private property, however.

  4. My point is that a certain percentage of you guys, let's call it 10%, unlike yourself and the majority, don't have the common sense and responsibility to do that safely.

  5. So, using your math, approximately one in ten range visits should end in:
    someone injured (didn't happen in any of the three linked stories);
    killed (ditto);
    arrested (in the first two);
    ticketed and fined;
    or with a fire (in the last)?

    Man, I have some serious catching up to do.
