Who is a hypocrite?

There was an interesting comment at Commongunsense where the commenter says:
Then we have Black Panther KING SAMIR SHABAZZ being videoed on how to hold a gun, shoot people and use a machete.
japete says: As to the Black Panther video- what's your point? What does that have to do with anything discussed here?

But this is an interesting since point 7 of the Black Panther's 10 Point programme is:

7. We Want An Immediate End To
Police Brutality And Murder Of Black People.

We believe we can end police brutality in our Black community by organizing Black self-defense groups that are dedicated to defending our Black community from racist police oppression and brutality. The Second Amendment to the Constitution of the United States gives a right to bear arms. We therefore believe that all Black people should arm themselves for self- defense.

What is 18Echo's point? Especially in light of this video:

Is it only OK to invoke your "Second Amendment right" if you are white?

It's one thing to call me a hypocrite, but it's another thing when you go around saying this type of shit that you have Second Amendment rights.

But if you're black...

And a Black Panther to boot.

That was Richard Daley Sr's view.

And if you add rich to that, that becomes Michael Bloomberg's view.

  3. My opinion is that any law abiding citizen should be able to own and carry firearms in a lawful manner. Race isn't a factor.

  5. The Black Panthers are clowns, they are their own worst enemies.

I saw the video of them at the polling place; they were standing around posturing - and no one coming or going seemed to think they were more than a pair of fools.

  6. AztecRed - you are gonna have to prove that you are a black person. Nobody here is going to believe you without 3 eye witnesses, a DNA test, and a sworn statement before a Judge that you are who you say you are.

Everybody knows that gun loons are fat and white, so just give it up.

  7. Nah, Jim. We just don't care if he's black or not. His views have been fairly ugly and not terribly fact-based either.

  8. Alan West and Alan Keyes are both black; being black and being teh batshitKKKrazzee is not a recent or rare event. It's just that when crazy black people want to get whitey that people like Daley, Sr. get upset. Daley, Jr., btw, is at least as big a scumbag as his father.

  9. Talk about distorting the original intent of the 2A, those Black Panthers have really done that.

Robert Fowler's idea is pretty wild too, I'm assuming he and I have a different idea of what "a lawful manner" means.

  10. Yes, but it's not far from the "insurrection theory" of the Amendment.

Since quite a few posters here mention that interpretation...
