What's your opinion? Is poor and irresponsible gun handling a bit more commonplace than the gun-rights advocates like to admit?Police say they believe 36-year old Michael Jerome Moore accidentally shot himself in the stomach while handling a semi-automatic firearm. A friend took Moore to Okaloosa Medical Center where he later died.
Authorities originally received conflicting information suggesting someone else may have pulled the trigger.Police were first looking at this case as a possible criminal investigation, but after collecting evidence and witness statements, they now believe Moore accidentally shot himself. The entire incident is still under investigation.

I also support the fact that Arkansas does not require helmets for motorcycle riders. That being said, if I ride a motorcycle, I wear a helmet. People should be free to make their own choices.
ReplyDeleteYou should move to Vermont, then you could live free or die.
DeleteArkansas sounds like a backwards-ass hillbilly state where more motorcycle riders die each year than need to.
DeleteWhy do you get to insult something that you clearly don't understand, but we can't comment on your life? I get tired of these bullshit stereotypes about the South. Find a topic that you can speak competently on, if any exist, and stay there, please.
DeleteNew Hampshire is the "Live free or Die" state.

DeleteMike's bigotry rears it's ugly head again.
Italian Mikey doesn't know the state mottos.
DeleteVermont, New Hampshire, who cares.
DeleteAs we've told you before, the facts don't matter to you. It's all about feelings.
DeleteI believe there are about 600 fatalities annually from accidental firearm injuries. That means we might hear news stories on as many as 5 per month.
ReplyDeleteOh, I got my number from the Centers for Disease Control.
Sorry, you lost me there, Capn.
DeleteI think he meant 50 per month.
DeleteYou're right, TS, but it still doesn't work. 50 a month means less than 2 a day. Even if every single one made the news that I look at, which is unlikely, that's too few. I see more than that.
DeleteEven if you're right--you have no evidence, but let's pretend--so what? Hold people responsible for their actions--paying the bills, not taking away rights--and quit trying to judge the rest of us by what a few do.
