Disgraceful Negligence by Carlisle Police Chief Stephen Margeson

Someone stole a loaded gun from a police chief's car in central Pennsylvania.

Carlisle police Chief Stephen Margeson's .40-caliber Glock was taken from his unmarked police SUV, which was parked in front of his home. Police said it happened between 1 p.m. Wednesday and 8 a.m. Thursday. There were no signs of forced entry. Police said it's unclear whether the vehicle was unlocked or someone knew the combination to open the keyless entry door.
Yeah, sure, someone knew the combination. Or, maybe the aliens did it.

  1. My comment is how can you judge a situation that you are not involved in? You neglected to say it was his son who stole the guns in desparation for Heroin. Not an excuse, just a fact.
My prayers go out to the Margeson family who is dealing with a family crises that is running rampid thru our Country and destroying the Youth of our Nation. Many Doctors hand out synthetic opiates like they are candy. These kids, in their youth explore but what they eventually come to understand is that what they are exploring with is dynamite! When the oxycontins wear out and they can't control their cravings the only thing left is heroin. If you have ever looked into this horrible destruction, you would begin to see that this is a horrible addiction so difficult to overcome. The Receptors in the brain accept different types of chemicals. Opiates change that into one form. In other words before it would accept triangle, squares, circles, octogons, etc. The opiates change that. It only accepts squares (opiates) Squares are the only thing that will stop the craving, a craving that will drive these kids to do things that they would NEVER have done prior to their addiction. No I have never used and no I do not know the Margesons but I know many lives that have been destroyed!!STOP JUDGING!! And yes, I'm okay with guns, they help to protect people! Maybe you should spend some of your time trying to help these kids instead of worrying so much about guns! Peace!

    1. Thanks for that comment. I happen to know about the scourge of drug addiction in the US. It's one of the three reasons I'm raising my kids elsewhere. Gun availability is another.

My blog happens to be about gun control and gun politics and gun rights. Around here we think it important enough to worry about.
