ReplyDeleteMaybe it's time for the death penalty to help solve our over population of our world's largest prison population.
Maybe you Americans should spend less time killing each other.
DeleteMikeb, you crow about how families that suffer an act of violence will become opponents of gun rights, but do tell us what your opinion is of these families and what they want. I suspect I know, but it's curious how you support families only when they make a choice that you approve.
ReplyDeleteWhile I understand that you intend for your above comment to expose the "hypocrisy" which you seem to believe exists in Mikeb's (and the conventional) viewpoint, it appears that your support for a terminal act of judicial retribution may be genuine.
DeleteHaven't we seen enough blood?
Haven't we seen enough personalities emerge from E.N.?
DeleteGreg, I don't know what you're blabbering about. I oppose the death penalty in all cases, but when the recipient is mentally ill it's especially wrong.
DeleteI favor gun control, as you know. So, what's your point?
I would guess that most family members of murdered people feel just like these people do. So? I also suspect that most of them move towards better gun control laws.
Greg,
DeleteFor all we know, you are E.N. and are using your sock-puppet as an opportunity to blame others of being him. Nice try.
Mikeb, you have argued that families who have suffered from gun violence will make a growing movement for gun control. You like that idea. Here, families that have suffered gun violence want the death penalty to be used. You don't like that idea. You have no consistent standard.
DeleteMike B says: "I would guess that most family members of murdered people feel just like these people do. So? I also suspect that most of them move towards better gun control laws."
DeleteSo?
Give each of the victim's family members a hammer and leave him in a room
